Dear Sirs in FIFA and UEFA,

This is to inform you that the Portuguese team GIL VICENTE FUTEBOL CLUBE , recently convicted to play the 2nd Portuguese League in 2006/2007 due to a very serious behaviour in terms of non compliance with the Sportive International FIFA Rules, has yesterday the 23rd August 2006, through its President Mr. Fiuza entered with a “ Caution Measure “ in a Lisbon Civil Portuguese Court of Justice, in order to get a different sentence from the Portuguese Football Federation decision, and at same time to avoid or delay the beginning of the Portuguese League.

Of course and once that the Portuguese Football Authorities are not able to handle this matter, I’m sure that you shall be able at least to issue an official opinion, or in the end to make that the Clubs competing in the National Leagues respect the Rules and Regulations approved and in force.

Furthermore on the 24th August 2006, this Civil Court replies to the Portuguese League of Clubs with a new sentence that the President Mr. Valentim Loureiro and his lawyers did not understand ( this was said by Mr. Loureiro live in all TV channels ).

Under these circumstances the match of the first round of the League between Sport Lisboa e Benfica vs Clube de Futebol os Belenenses, booked to the next Sunday 27 August 2006 may be cancelled, which is in fact a great defeat to the World and European Sport Justice.

Please kindly take all the necessary measures in order to make the FIFA law govern the Sport that all of us are affectionate.
